Cliff Spliff

Do you remember
The calm December winters?

The dropping temperatures
And the ear-covered mufflers

Resting our backs on the high wooden chair
Undisturbed by the freezing air

We were lost, in the moment,
Awe-struck by the wanderlust fervent

Hands held high
Heads swaying by

In an uncharted directionless vibe
Together in an inseparable high

No spliff,
Just the green rocky cliff

We were living life
After a year’s mundane strife
