As monsoon winds brush my cheek,
The wind chimes carry the words you speak,
Long in the distant skies the clouds rumble,
In a silent tone, I mumble,
About my broken promises,
And the late-night caresses,
Trust went at stake,
But now it’s too late,
Watching you with someone, is it fate?
Thinking was it just my mistake?
Truly, madly, deeply in love is what they named us,
Certainly, they loved with limitations, I guess,
In my laughter, there is grief,
‘Love lost’ was etched on my heart in one piece.
