Unveiling the true beauty

Beauty was defined not by the way you look,
I shrugged off, uttering these words ogling from the nook.

Those sloe-eyes with a thin line of mascara,
The mascara was feeling it’s significance on her lashes!

The sheepish nature of her, with her meagerly dimpled cheeks,
Captivated one and all in that room.

With gracious fingers, she would caress the bristles of hair,
Enough to sweep someone off the ground into the air!

Beauty lies in the eyes and a smile,
Measuring a woman’s happiness was indeed a guile.

Her eyes had the fears she scared,
Also the wounds she scarred!

Zipped in her tight lips of smile,
Resided the secrecy of life in facile.

Little did she know about life,
The power to control her fright.

She loved the drizzling rains kissing her cheeks,
Gazing a sky full of stars from over the meadows.

She dozed when someone caressed her temple,
Naivety defined her to the core.

She traveled places with crimson faces,
Plunged into oceans to explore the seabed traces.

On the seashore, she left her crisscrossed imprints,
Matchless with none except for hers.

It was then, I sifted to make myself aware,
Her true beauty dweled in her magnificent eyes.

With chiseled dimples, she flashed a while,
Head over heels would someone define.

Hearing his ode over her mundane bliss,
She flickered her pearl white ivories with a warm kiss!

For him, she was a felt-tip pen,
Engraving stained words that remained indelible.

Quelling his yearn with a thousand untold words.
